PPL Ground School Training

We offer 1-day ground school courses for all subjects in the PPL/LAPL syllabus. At the end of each course you will have the opportunity to sit the exam whilst the information is fresh in your mind.
Please aim to arrive at about 08:50 as each session will start promptly at 09:00.
Please bring some lunch. Tea and coffee are provided.
For navigation, please bring the following:
-Flight computer (Pooleys CRP1 or CRP5 preferred)
-4 colours of permanent fine pens (Steadtler 4 colour packs can be purchased from the instructor)
-1:500,000 CAA VFR chart
-Ruler (scale 1:500,000)
-protractor (preferably with 13mm template hole drilled)
All the exams must be completed in a maximum of 6 sittings.
Definition of a sitting: exams taken over a continuous period of 10 days are considered to be in the same sitting unless:
If an exam is re-sat which was originally taken during a current sitting, this will count as the end of the current sitting, even if 10 days have not passed.
All exams must be completed within 18 months counted from the end of the calendar month when the first exam was taken and once complete are valid for 24 months from the date of successfully completing all the examinations, prior to the grant of the private pilot licence.
